(above via: here.) I love love love the above bedroom. For me, it epitomizes spring with its burst of sunshiny yellow and subtle floral details. If you look closely, you'll notice that the bed is actually an open futon. And the array of art, prints, and photos add so much flair to the plain white walls in the room.
(above via: here.) If black, white, and neutrals are more your thing and your hoping to create a clean-lined, relaxing escape... check out the above bedroom. The bed is dressed in plain off-white sheets and looks very tranquil. I LOVE those curtains---the design is so pretty and adds just the right amount of pattern. The bulletin board blends into the wall for a uniform look. And I love the pop of red from that "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster.
(above via: here.) I like this room because of the colors, simplicity, and patterns. My first college roomie had that exact bedspread and I adored it. The computer is beside the bed instead of at a desk, which I think is an interesting choice... but some people (including myself) aren't crazy about sitting at a desk. I love how the magazines are organized in stacks beside the orange chair. What a perfect place to curl up with the latest Cosmopolitan! I also like the pretty curtains and the beautiful photographs hung over the bed.
(above via: here.) If you're stumped on what to do with your boring white walls, take some cues from this room! The furniture and decor is left to the bare minimum. And one wall is filled with everything from posters, photographs, and artwork to records, album sleeves, and magazine pages. I love the big statement piece that reads "All that is gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost." Gorgeous. And I love the quilt on the bed, too.
(above via: here.) If you're looking for a more sophisticated, grown-up style... look no further. From the neutral striped rug, basket-woven ottoman, and cluster of framed pictures on the wall, this rooms is pretty and classy. A daybed provides both a place to sleep and a place to sit/read/chill out.Amore.
